Redskins new head coach
The search for a replacement coach for the Redskins NFL team is over and the fans as well as the players would be delighted to know that Jim Zorn is hired as the new head coach. The 54 year old, Jim Zorn has signed a five year contract as head coach of the Redskins. He was selected for his reputation, coaching skills, track record etc and the owner of Redskins, Dan Snyder is pretty confident that his new coach will be able to take his team to greater heights in the upcoming NFL season.
Zorn has been the quaterbacks coach for the team Seahawks from 2001 to 2007 and has been lately appointed as the offensive coordinator of the Redskins team. Snyder has hired Zorn as his team’s sixth coach at an astronomical price and has reached at a decision after extensive research and multiple interviews with several candidates. The Redskins have a bunch of talented contracted players who needs proper guidance and advice to take the team well forward in the coming season. A lot of work is in store for Zorn, as he will have to gather the confidence of the players on his coaching abilities as some of them are disappointed with the appointment of Jim Zorn as their new coach.
