Morgan’s injury worries Carolina Panthers

Injury prone linebacker Dan Morgan, of the Carolina Panthers, has been released by the Panthers after seven seasons as they ran out of patience with his recurring injuries. Morgan was a regular first round pick for the Carolina Panthers whenever he played and was one of the best line backs for the Panthers in most of the 59 games he played for the Panthers. Morgan is a very accomplished line backer and has made about 452, the third best tackle record in the history of Carolina Panthers. Dan Morgan is injury prone and played only one game the whole 2006 season and has never played the entire 16 games in any season.

The frequent injuries to Dan Morgan for the past two seasons have made the think tank of the Carolina Panthers team make the painful decision of releasing their most reliable line backer from the team.  club as well as the organizational set up could do wonders for Dan Morgan. There is no surprise as far as Drew Rosenhaus, Morgan’s agent, is concerned that the line backer will definitely be playing football in 2008 season.
