Brett Favre makes clear his decision to stay away from playing.

Retired quarterback Brett Favre made it clear on Friday that he has absolutely no intentions of getting out of his retirement to play for Green Bay Packers or any team in the league. He is reported to be happy about his decision to abstain from playing at the moment. He made this declaration amidst reports by The Times that his agent, James cook has sent out feelers to different teams to know their interest in taking him in. They claim to have got the news from NFL sources. Both cook and Favre have denied the allegations.

Favre is in agreement with the Green Bay Packers and his engaging in conversation with any other team would be against the anti-tampering laws of the league. Favre reiterated that he has no immediate plans of returning to the NFL and is contended with his decision to retire from the game. Favre expressed his surprise at the news and denied that he was in knowledge of any enquiries that might have taken place.
