There has been lot of negotiations and discussions going on between the Grant’s camp and the Green Bay Packers top brass, but so far nothing conclusive has emerged out from these discussions. Packers are determined to have Ryan Grant in their team for the next season. Ryan is also interested in representing the Packers for the upcoming season, but is not satisfied with the money they are offering for striking the deal. There is no doubt that the Packers fans will be purchasing tickets to watch the games, despite all the controversies that are doing rounds in the Packers camp now.

Eagles need to fly together in 2008

The Philadelphia Eagles will need a healthy team if they want to compete in the tough NFC East. Last Year the Eagles finished a respectable 8-8 but failed to make the playoffs and that is something that doesn’t sit well for the city of brotherly love.  With so many injuries plaguing the Eagles in 2007, they need to remain healthy and not struggle at key positions due to injuries. It has to start with the Donovan McNabb who has struggled to play a full season in what seems like forever. Early reports say he is fine and ready for the year but we have heard that before. Other key players that need to stay on the field are tight end L.J. Smith, RB Brian Westbrook and of course the offensive line.  The defense needs leader Brian Dawkins healthy because along with Asante Samuel the Philadelphia secondary can really make some noise. Of course they are simply things that every NFL franchise needs in order to compete but the Eagles are too good of a team to finish mediocre and a healthy 2008 squad can make for another run at the beloved Super Bowl.

Jaguars staying in Jacksonville

Jacksonville Jaguars owner Wayne Weaver is reporting that the team will not be moving anywhere and are not for sale.  There were talks of negotiations being made between Weaver and billionaire C. Dean Metropoulos as the team could possibly be moved to Los Angeles. Weaver said that the team will stay put in Jacksonville and although he cannot determine the future he is putting his foot down by saying the Jaguars will be from Jacksonville as far as he can see.  The team has faced some financial debt and the possibility of bringing invenstors in has been talked about.  Jacksonville Jaguars fans are thrilled because they sure do love their team and would hate the fact to spend their Sundays watching them play in another state.
