Super Bowl XLIII Half Time Show

Just to spice things up and provide a preview to all football fans, the 43rd Super Bowl half time show will feature Bruce Springsteen. Though it would be nice to know what teams will be facing off, at least it is a comfort to know that the entertainment will be great. Springsteen will headline the show. As for the opening act, that is yet to be determined. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves; the Super Bowl is still a ways away.

Packer Fans can Breathe

Al Harris, the Green Bay Packers cornerback, sustained an injury to his spleen during the most recent game against the Cowboys. According to doctors and other medical professionals, Harris will be out of play for about three to four weeks, not the full season as was first suspected. It was also thought the spleen would require medical removal, but the medical staff is recommending for Harris to simply rest, so that his spleen has time to full recover on its own.

Detroit Lions Need a Pack Leader

Matt Millen, the CEO and team president of the Detroit Lions, is leaving his position. The dry spell for the Detroit Lions may also be over with Millen’s departure. Who is going to takeover is still up in the air. But at least it will be a breath of fresh air! Hopefully the new guy will have experience and be more mindful to win games—a minor thing Millen overlooked. Detroit Lion fans have something to cheer about as Millen’s reign is over.
