The Cardinals want to keep Kurt Warner. That much is obvious. It is also obvious that he wants to stick around. The question is whether the Cards can pony up the money needed to keep him. They have been unable to reach a deal thusfar, and free agency will begin shortly. Will Warner check out some other deals or will he actually stick around? Apparently, the reports are that they will offer him between $10-12 million, but it’s not completely clear that he wants to take it. He clearly wants something closer to 15 million dollars, as he thinks he is a “top five” quarterback, all of whom make that amount of money fairly regularly. Keep your eyes on that.
