Cleveland Browns running back is a hungry man

The general manager of the Cleveland Browns is a happy man signing running back Jamal Lewis to play for Browns last March as he has proved to be the most valuable player for the Browns by running 1,304 yards with 298 carries with an average of 4.4 yards per attempt. Lewis has now signed an extended contract with the Browns that will keep him in Cleveland for another three years. Talking to reporters on his extended contract with the Browns, Jamal said that he wants to take the team to greater heights and if possible lead it to a championship title.
There is a possibility that Jamal Lewis could also touch 10,000 yards in his career and he is currently at 9,105 yards in his eight year at the NFL. So, there is every possibility that he can achieve his goal in the 2008 season itself, provided he stays fit and healthy. If Lewis touches down on 10,000 yard mark, he will be the 24th player in the history of the NFL to achieve this great feat and he says that he is still the old Jamal and has the fire power in his belly to reach the 10,000 yard mark.
