Cowboys Trading, Suspending, Breaking

 cowboysfootball.jpg

The story of the Dallas this last week can be summed by these three words: Trade, Suspend, Break. In quite a surprising move on their own behalf (as well as the Lions), Dallas acquired Roy Williams from the Detroit Lions earlier this week. Adding in a star receiver like that when they already have one in Terrell Owens is somewhat perplexing, especially when they really need some more defensive strength, considering Pacman Jones’ situation. Defensive back Adam “Pacman” Jones was suspended indefinitely from the team after getting into a little scuffle with his own body guard. However, the biggest change for the Cowboys was when Tony Romo broke his right pinkie last Sunday against the Redskins. His condition is labeled as a game-time decision, but they may have to revert to backup QB Brad Johnson. Find out more Dallas information by visiting the Cowboys website.

Cowboys have perfect tight ends

There is no need for Cowboys to worry about one position while going to the next season, it is the tight ends. The Cowboys are blessed with a good mixture of young and experienced players as their tight ends. The main strength of this team is Jason Witten, who is only 25 years of age and has already four pro bowls and all -pro selection to his credit. Witten is instrumental in rewriting records of Cowboy’s in several categories. He has the highest reception score of 348 and highest receiving yards of 3983 in the history of tight ends of Cowboys.

Jason Witten currently has the 6th rank for receiving yards and 7th position for receptions, in the club rankings. He has achieved this within five seasons and the year 2007 was the best in his career with 96 catches and 1,145 Yards. He was ranked 2nd among tight ends in 2007 in the NFL. Cowboys will not experience any problem regarding the play from their tight ends as Jason is not only a pass-catcher but one of the best blockers in the team and hopefully he will be labeled as the most perfect tight end in NFL. There are other talented players as tight ends like Tony Curtis and Anthony Fasano to support the team.
