Daunte Undaunted

Daunte Culpepper seems to be aiming for a return to the NFL. He retired 49 days ago but yesterday he showed an interest in un-retiring and joining up with a team. NFL.com blogger Adam Schefter reports that Culpepper has been in contact with the Chiefs, the Packers, and the Titans already. He claims that his original reason for retiring was because of “the absence of a fair opportunity to compete and play.” He hopes to join up with a team and play an integral role in the second half of the season. Before his retirement, Culpepper played for 9 seasons, 7 of them with the Minnesota Vikings and had a total of 142 touchdowns. It will be interesting to see which team he decides to join and how well he is used there!
