Great Player Finished

Brett Favre announced his retirement again this week. He has retired several times before, most notably in the spring of 2008, when he was completely decided that he was going to leave the game once and for all. Then he attempted a Green Bay comeback, where he reported for camp, despite the fact that they were getting Aaron Rodgers ready for the position. So he was released to the New York Jets, where he played last season. But it’s kind of sad, because the season didn’t end quite so great there. Favre played well at the beginning, but was injured late in the season, one of the reasons that this retirement looks like it’s more permanent. We don’t think this story is going any further, but you never really know, I guess.

Ryan Grant waiting for a good deal from Packers

The Green Bay Packers are finding it tough to deal with free agent Ryan Grant, who is knocking at the door steps of the Packers, for a longer deal. There has been lot of negotiations and discussions going on between the Grant’s camp and the Green Bay Packers top brass, but so far nothing conclusive has emerged out from these discussions. Packers are determined to have Ryan Grant in their team for the next season. Ryan is also interested in representing the Packers for the upcoming season, but is not satisfied with the money they are offering for striking the deal. There is no doubt that the Packers fans will be purchasing tickets to watch the games, despite all the controversies that are doing rounds in the Packers camp now.
